SUMMARY – More than thirty-five years of experience in statistical analysis of social and demographic data in various applied settings.  Excellent at organizing and conducting quantitative research pertaining to policy questions.  Good at effectively communicating complex statistical results or procedures to a non-statistical audience.   More than 100 presentations to scholarly and non-technical audiences. Excellent knowledge of data available from the Federal statistical system and familiarity with workings of Congress and administrative agencies. Varied background including university teaching, state government service, and nonprofit research. 

EDUCATION - Ph.D in Sociology, Michigan State University, December 1976, Major areas of study were Demography, Urban Sociology and Social Psychology
